How to know what is the size we need for the ribbon size?
Normally the for thethermal transfer ribbon size depent on the printer we use.Thermal transfer ribbon core normally has 1"core and 0.5"core for the inner diameters.
and this depend on the printer we use.
normally for industiral thermal transfer printer use 1"core ribbon,and desk top printer use 0.5" core thermal tansfer ribbon.
and specific printer model ,pls find the attached printer info for your reference.
and after we confirm the core diameter of the ribbon, the width of the ribbon, normally depend on the media/label width you use.
In order to protect the printer printhead,normally suggest the thermal transfer ribbon width at least 5mm larger than the label width.
for exapmple, for wash care label, use 30mm label, then suggest 35mm ribbon width to use.
All the ribbon width can be as request,30mm,40mm,50mm,60mm,70mm,80mm,90mm,100mm,110mm.
and for the ribbon length the normal using lenght is 300m, 450m, 74m.
